# [[Decree of Superiority]] The Decree of Superiority was a document signed by [[Vile King Lucius IV|Emperor Lucius the IV]] that guaranteed the superiority of the [[Aurorans]] over other people due to their connection to [[Sol]] and the [[Empire of Light]]. It solidified the colonization efforts and the slave trade that had been given as a monopoly to the [[Golden Horizon Trading Company]]. The document served as a carte blanche for the invasion and colonisation of [[Jangalore]] and [[Thmert]] by the [[Imperial Army]] and the [[Golden Horizon Trading Company|GHTC]], and the enslavement and deportation of its people. This had already started in the [[Age of Colonization]] and now became justified and officialized with the document. The Decree was also worded in such a way that dissidents of the [[Empire of Light]] and critics of the [[Vile King Lucius IV|Emperor Lucius the IV]] could be legally persecuted as traitors, which would later cause internal strife among sects of the [[Church of Sol]].
