# [[Church of the Illuminated Path]] Founded by the paladin [[Saint Jory the Settler|Jory Hills of Longmeadow]], the Church of the Illuminated Path is less preoccupied with the worship of [[Sol]] as a god, and more interested in living the ideal of spreading civilization towards the horizon. Although Sol is still an important part of the church, the various saints are ignored (With the exception of [[Saint Jory the Settler]]). Followers believe that following the illuminated path brings freedom and prosperity. [[The Illuminated Path]] is the state religion of [[Vesper]] and the doctrines of the religion are mirrored by the [[Vesperite]] government.
