Travelers pray to Saint Lavernia for a successful journey, and she’s also favored by hunters and thieves, as well as traditional gnome communities. During the [[Reign of Terror]], followers of Saint Lavernia were persecuted by [[Lucian]] due to the syncretic connections made by the enslaved of [[Jangalori]] descent between Saint Lavernia and [[Awosi]]. Many churches with the saint as a matron were closed because of this persecution, and only now in the [[Modern Age]] that the cult of the saint has re-emerged.
