# [[Inventory]]

Equipment utilizes [[Inventory Slot|Inventory Slots]] rather than weight.
You possess a number of ==slots equal to your *Strength* score plus two==. Without a backpack, only half of your slots are usable. Additionally, you have an equivalent number of [[Trinket Slot|Trinket Slots]] for items with negligible weight.
## Converting Weight to Slots
Items below 1 lb. occupy a [[Trinket Slot]].
Items weighing above 1 lb. use a regular [[Inventory Slot]].
Items exceeding 10 lb. utilize one slot per 10 lb. For instance, an item weighing 15 lb. occupies 2 slots, while a 30 lb. item requires 3 slots.
## Currency
Up to 50 coins can be carried in a single [[Trinket Slot]].
Up to 500 coins can be carried in a single [[Inventory Slot]].
## Bundles
Some items can be grouped in a single inventory slot. You can have up to a full bundle in the same [[Inventory Slot]], but having a single one of these items still occupies the whole slot.
>[!blank|s-t no-i t-w] Item Bundles
| Bundle of... | N of Items | Single Cost | Bundle Cost | Slot Used |
| --------------- | ------------- | ----------- | ----------- | --------- |
| Rations | 5 | 5 SP | 25 SP | [[Inventory Slot]] |
| Torches | 10 | 1 SP | 10 SP | [[Inventory Slot]] |
| Arrows (Quiver) | 20 | N/A | 2 GP | [[Trinket Slot]] |
| Bolts (Case) | 20 | N/A | 2 GP | [[Trinket Slot]] |
| Sling bullets (Bag) | 20 | N/A | 4 CP | [[Trinket Slot]] |
| Blowgun needles (Case) | 20 | N/A | 4 SP | [[Trinket Slot]] |
| Firearm bullets (Case) | 20 | N/A | 6 GP | [[Trinket Slot]] |
## Water
When consuming the contents of the container, roll the container's depletion die. On a 1, that container is depleted and must be refilled before it is used again.
An empty water container occupies the same space as a full one.

## Shared Inventory
> [Link to Party Inventory Sheet](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u4wk1_Wh46w3T3XquJBi4Lr13Q2LbP7A/view)
Characters can donate their own personal inventory slots to add slots to the party sheet.
Items added to the **Party Inventory Sheet** can be accessed by any character in the party at any time outside of combat.
Any [[Inventory Slot]] contributed to the shared inventory also contributes with the corresponding [[Trinket Slot]].
## Vehicles
Vehicles must be piloted by a driver and can carry passengers. ==Passengers can rest or do [[Journey tasks]] other than traveling while riding a vehicle==.
Vehicles can also contribute to the [[Inventory#Shared Inventory|party inventory]]: The vehicle adds a base amount of slots to the party inventory as long as it is pulled by a beast of burden.
**Additional mounts** can add more slots to the carrying capacity of the vehicle. The slots increases up to the volume capacity of the vehicle.
**Additional passengers** can be carried by spending slots equivalent to the passenger's weight^[Default to 15 slots for a medium-sized creature and 5 for a small-sized one.]. Likewise, each space dedicated to a passenger can be used to carry 5 additional inventory slots.
>[!blank|s-t no-i t-w] Land Vehicles
| Vehicles | Cost | Slots | Additional Mounts | Max Slots | Passengers included |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------ | ----- | --------- | --------- | ------------------------ |
| Cart | 15 GP | 40 | +15 Slots | 85 | Driver only |
| Wagon | 35 GP | 35 | +25 Slots | 110 | Driver plus 4 passengers |
| Carriage | 100 GP | 30 | +30 Slots | 120 | Driver plus 6 passengers |
| Chariot ^[A chariot is a military vehicle and does not decrease the speed of animals pulling it.] | 250 GP | 10 | +5 Slots | 25 | Driver plus a passenger |
The table assumes draft horses are used for pulling the vehicle. Different animals add a different modifier when used to carry vehicles. See [[Inventory#Mounts and other animals]] for details.
>[!info] Example: The Scavenger's League Wagon
>The party has a wagon carried by [[The Horses|Pedro & Reinaldo]], two draft horses. This gives them a total of ==60 [[Inventory Slot|Inventory Slots]] and 5 seats (including the driver)==.
>The party has 6 core members and 3 followers. The party occupies the 5 seats of the wagon, and the other 4 members can occupy inventory slots. With [[“Ratface” Ralnak|Ratface]] being small, the ==additional members would occupy a total of 50 inventory slots== if they all rode the cart! This leaves them with ==10 vacant slots== to carry items.
## Mounts and other animals
Mounts and other animals can be ridden or used to carry vehicles. Animals carrying vehicles move at the same rate as a human.
Below is a list of animals, their base speed, and how they contribute differently to the slots the party gets when they are pulling vehicles.
>[!blank|s-t no-i t-w] Beasts of Burden
| Animal | Cost | Speed | Slots | Special |
| --------------------- | ------- | ----- | ----- | ------------------------------- |
