# [[Set Camp]] > ***Collaborative task*** A character sets up camp, rolling a Survival check. Others can help. Success means an appropriate place has been found and the camp is set with no setbacks. A camp is also built in case of a failure, but it incurs in a camping impediment. ![[Difficulty by Terrain Type#^table]] >[!blank|s-t no-i t-w] Camping Impediment | d12 | Setback | | :-: | :------ | | 1 | **Aggressive fauna.** Party encounters a wild animal. | | 2 | **Ants!** Wis save to avoid 1d4 dmg. Not possible to sleep here. | | 3 | **Bad weather.** Rain makes it impossible to sleep. | | 4 | **Faerie trickery.** Party encounter a hostile fae. | | 5 | **Fire!** Dex save to avoid 2d6 fire dmg. Party loses a random item to fire. | | 6 | **Mosquito bites.** Each character saves for Con or gets diseased. | | 7 | **Rotten food.** Decrease party’s ration dice by 1 size. | | 8 | **Ruined backpack.** Someone’s backpack snags and gets ruined. | | 9 | **Ruined clothes.** The campfire burns someone’s clothes and ruins them. | | 10 | **Spoiled water.** Empty all water containers. | | 11 | **[[Ticks]].** The party gets ticks. | | 12 | **Wet firewood.** No light during the evening or night. | ![[camp fire.png|sban]]
