# [[Travel]] > ***Group task — Has to be taken by the whole party.*** The party moves through the landscape at the chosen speed. Check the Traveling table for distance covered per round. If no character chooses to [[Navigate]], the group does a collective Survival check at disadvantage to navigate or suffer a navigation impediment. Traveling through a road doesn’t need a navigator or a navigation check. The party can travel twice per day. Traveling a third time gives two levels of exhaustion from the forced march. Riding in certain [[Inventory#Mounts and other animals|animals]] or [[Inventory#Vehicles|vehicles]] ***on open terrain*** can increase your speed.
