While wearing it in an area of heavy precipitation, you don't perceive things as being [Lightly Obscured](https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules/adventuring#VisionandLight) and you don't get disadvantage on Wisdom ([Perception](https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/free-rules/playing-the-game#Skills)) checks. Torches and other open flames carried by you are also not extinguished by heavy rain. While attuned to the bracelet, you can light it up in flames to control the weather. This works as the spell [control weather](https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/2050-control-weather), but you only change the weather once and it lasts for 6 hours without the need to hold concentration.
