The lens of this monocle seems uncannily like an engorged glossy pink-tinted eye. This monocle fits snuggly over the eye. It has 3 charges. While wearing it, you can expend 1 charge as an action to cast the [charm person](https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/2025-charm-person) spell (save DC 13) on a humanoid within 30 feet of you, provided that you and the target can see each other. This effect lasts until next dawn. You can also expend 2 charges to telepathically cast the [suggestion](https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/2269-suggestion) spell (save DC 13) on any humanoid charmed by you. You don't need to see or even be aware of where the charmed humanoid is to do this.
Activating the eye of the tucuxi is exhausting. Whenever you cast a spell using it, tears form between the lens and the loop of the monocle, and you gain a level of [exhaustion](https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/free-rules/rules-glossary#ExhaustionCondition). This item feels particularly odious to the [[Enchanted]], and any [[Enchanted]] attuned to this item gains a permanent level of exhaustion.
The eye of the tucuxi regain all expended charges daily at dawn.
