# [[The Pious Seeker]]
>Painting
A 200-year-old, 2 ft. x 3 ft. oil painting on cloth canvas in a golden baroque frame. Masterly painted by [[Belmiro Villares]]. It depicts adventurers in antique clothes holding a map and pointing at a distant mountain.
Commissioned to celebrate the adventurous [[Sir Nivaldir the Pious]], a hero of the [[Age of Colonization]] and the [[Campaign of Saint Malcolm]]. Story goes that Nivaldir would build a keep on that distant mountain, and some say it was indeed built, but Nivaldir and his companions were never seen again. The painting shows Nivaldir with his magic warhammer [[Anvilsinger]].
