As per agreement with the [[Royal Court of Fortuna]], all knights working for nobles in the city of [[Lake Hope]] are given special training and are required to work with the city watch. %% ## History Text %% ## Membership Any knight in the service of a noble in [[Lake Hope]] must head to Castle Mallard in [[Fort Glory]] to train as a Mallard Knight. The noble that sponsors the knight may incur in severe fines and even jailtime if they move to [[Lake Hope]] and don't offer their knights for training and for the city watch. In return, the city supports the nobles with the upkeep costs of their knights, providing equipment and meals during their days working for the city. ## Relationship with the [[Royal Court of Fortuna]] The Mallards are all invested with the title of knights and as such are members of the [[Royal Court of Fortuna]].
