# [[Council of Vaikemekhem]] The Council has historically been a gathering of elders of the largest [[Aturi]] clans throughout the colony. Before the [[Age of Colonization]], the council mostly dealt with trade agreements and solving disputes, as well as maintaining the [[Titan Seals]]. During the [[Reign of Terror]], the clans turned to the Council to coordinate their resistance and survival efforts. In the Modern Era, the Council is the ruling body of the [[Aturi Federation]].
