## [[Tajará Necropolis]] >[!caption|sban] >![[Tajará Necropolis.png]] The Tajará Necropolis is the ancient burial site of the [[Tajará]] people, located east of their village of [[Abaçaí-Mirim]], in the [[Tajará Woods]]. It became the resting place (and later, awakening place) of the revenant warlord [[Bargakh the Betrayed]]. ## Campaign Appearances * **[[Session 10 - Bargakh the Betrayed]]:** The party enters the main burrow, finds a dead halfling with stolen tribute, and meets the awakened revenant [[Bargakh the Betrayed]] deep within the necropolis. - **[[Session 12 - The Ghoul and the Bird]]:** The party returns to the necropolis to deliver the religious tapestry from [[Roc's Peak]] as evidence that Bargakh's enemies, the [[Flagbearers]], are gone. She accepts this and is laid to rest. The party also collects the tribute left by the impostor halfling. ## Adventure Module >[!Caption|right lp] >![image|wsmall](https://tenfootpole.org/ironspike/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/d16.jpg) >Dungeon Magazine #16 This adventure is an adaptation of [[Tajará Necropolis|Necropolis]], a 5-page module published in 1989 in the Dungeon magazine. Besides adapting the names and overall mood to [[Ibir]], I bulked up what seemed the most fun part of the adventure with a whole new dungeon (the [[Flagbearer Outpost]]), linking the adventure with the overarching themes of the campaign, and spreading the adventure out through the hexcrawl map. %% #UpdateLocationTree%% ## Location Tree >[!place] [[Places/Natural Features/Tajará Woods.md|Tajará Woods]] (🌳 Forest) >>[!place] YOU ARE HERE [[Places/Buildings/Tajará Necropolis.md|Tajará Necropolis]] (🏛 Dungeon) > %%END%%
