# [[Thmert]]
Thmert is a continent known for its deserts, lush river floodplains, ancient pyramids, and whose people have historically used Undead created with radiant energy as servants. Some historians believe that [[Sol]] was originally born in Thmert and then travelled to [[Aurora]] before the [[The Age of Gods and the Just War|Age of Gods]].
Geographically, Thmert is located south of [[Aurora]], west of the [[Lands of Sunrise]], and north of [[Jangalore]], whose lands are divided by the [[Crater Sea]]. Its eastern shores are bathed by the [[Sunset Ocean]]. It has an arid climate where agriculture is greatly dependant on the flood cycles of the [[Saakar River]] that cuts the continent south-to-north. The [[Zephyr Rift]] that cuts [[Aurora]] from the [[Lands of Sunrise]] ends at the [[Salt Sea]] near the delta of the [[Saakar River]].
Thmert was invaded by [[Lucian|Lucians]] at the start of the [[Reign of Terror]]. Some speculate that the rites that turned [[Vile King Lucius IV|King Lucius]] into the [[Vile King Lucius IV|Eternal Emperor]] were found locked in a secret room of a pyramid raided in the first incursions into the continent.
