Sapphires is a mining village located between [[Burnt Pass]] and [[Goldwood Forest]], a few miles north of the [[Gold Route]]. A great deal of the local economy surrounds the large gold-mining operation and the handful of sapphire mines around the village, all owned and operated by the [[Fortunan Mining Consortium]].
