Those... those things in robes, shouting, banging on the doors? They weren’t right in the head. They threatened us and left. No law anymore, Muriel. The dwarves sure aren’t doing anything about it. Before it’s too late." ## 11th of [[Germtide, 1049|Germtide]] ([[🌦 Drizzle]]) * The party packs up to leave [[Burnock Mill]]. * [[Isildir]], [[Valdir]], and [[Grovislei]] pack up a barrel of wine from the mill as payment. * They head back to [[Kaagunud]] in the morning. * At [[The Drunken Rattlesnake]], the party receives an invite to dine with [[Speaker Guro Norod]] the following day, as it is [[Landing Day]]. * The party spends some downtime. * [[Itxaro]] visits his friend [[Irundila Khundruk]] to start training on how to use the [[Mithral Armor]]. * [[Damrakas]] follows [[Itxaro]] to sell his [[Drinker|cursed dagger]] but "decides" not to do it. Instead he asks for the removal of the cross of [[Saint Lucius the Purifier|Saint Lucius]] from the pommel. * [[Joppyr]] learns he can add water to the magic halberd dust to restore his weapon. * [[Drakus Thunderheart]] goes to the local [[Trooper]] market and finds [[Felisberto]]. Learns that he will be in [[Places/Settlements/Lake Hope|Lake Hope]] for the [[Cheese Festival]] and that there will be a retiring teacher from the [[Saint Míthrin School of Magic]] auctioning some magic items on the 11th of Flowertide. * [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] also buys some kind of oil, that he gifts to [[Teobaldo Brito]] in an attempt to befriend him. They go drink at [[The Escape Tunnel]]. * He turns out to be an enchanted and an expert in local folklore. * He tells that a [[Headless Mule]] is created by [[Vile Abaddon]] from the body of a sinner. Tells him that it would be possible to make a pact with the mule to locate [[Tryk]]. * The party is reminded that [[Morgano Beltrão]] has the scroll [[To Summon Rodagog the Betrayer]], that could also summon a powerful fiend. ## 12th of [[Germtide, 1049|Germtide]] ([[☁ Foggy]]), [[Landing Day]] * At night, the party heads to dinner with [[Speaker Guro Norod]]. * [[Denorel|The accountant]] is also there. Some attendants help [[Speaker Guro Norod|Guro]] to the table. * The dinner is traditional [[Aturi]] foods. * They ask about [[Baron Uthrak]] and [[Burnock Mill]] * They learn that the [[Baron Johnas Uthrak de Diamantine|Uthrak]] destroyed the crystal halls of [[Diamantine]] during the [[Reign of Terror]]. * There might be records of the lands the family owned in the area in [[Brine Rapids]]. * They mention [[Dame Carlota Sandragon|DCS]]. The Speaker is not happy to hear her name again. * [[Speaker Guro Norod]] explains that they built the prison in a deal to survive the [[Reign of Terror]]. * Bodies from the prison would be delivered to the [[Lucian|Lucians]]. * Some are said to have been used in the blood fountain in [[Brine Rapids]]. * The party is told that their conflict with the [[Knights of the Green Cloak|Green cloaks]] is causing trouble to the Speaker. * Rumors in [[Brine Rapids]] besmirch the image of the [[Scavenger's League of Fortuna]]. * [[Speaker Guro Norod|Guro]] would like to avoid trouble with [[Baron Ignácio Remígio Borja]] as he has been a good ally. * [[Itxaro]] is also questioned about his methods of dealing with the farmers. [[Speaker Guro Norod|Guro]] understands and relates to the answer. * Tells them they ave to leave [[Kaagunud]] by the end of the week. * [[Speaker Guro Norod]] promises to have people checking [[Burnock Mill]] in case someone returns. Will send a messenger to reach the party if something comes up. * They ask about the war and the orcs. * [[Speaker Guro Norod]] is not worried. Says they have taken a [[settler]] castle and they haven't crossed the [[Ourú River]], so the [[Aturi]] might be sparred. * When mentioning [[Tryk]] and the plan to summon a [[Headless Mule]], they are told that the orcs could possibly help finding [[Tryk]] with their demonic summons. ## 13th of [[Germtide, 1049|Germtide]] ([[🌞 Sunny]]) * The party heads to [[Brine Rapids]]. [[Itxaro]] remains to train with [[Irundila Khundruk]].
