## Night, 21st of [[Germtide, 1049|Germtide]]
* [[Morgano Beltrão|Morgano]], [[Damrakas]], and [[Bran Firethorn|Bran]] take [[Lord Arthur Valleysworth]] to the room in the dungeon to talk to him.
* [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] peeks in the cell ahead and sees a halfling hiding under covers. He calls for him and [[Julian Boaventura]] recognizes him. The [[Scavenger's League of Fortuna|League]] had rescued him from the [[Cult of the Reptile God]] in [[Orlando]] and [[Session 2 - South of the Border#7th of Raintide, 1049 Raintide ( ☁ Foggy )|sent him to look for help]].
* [[Julian Boaventura|Julian]] was kidnapped by [[Beatrice the Cruel|a woman with a horrible stench]] not long ago. She took the engagement ring he bought to propose to his partner back home. [[Julian Boaventura|Julian]] asks to follow the party until they find the woman and the ring.
* [[Dogface]] had gotten the dungeon keys while they cut off the head of [[Baron Uthrak]], so he's able to open the cell.
* In another cell, the party finds three local children, kidnapped recently. They threaten to start crying because of [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]]'s fearsome presence, but [[Itxaro]] distracts them and tells them to keep quiet or else they die, which the children find amusing.
* In the last cell, [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] spots someone he recognizes: [[Geraldina]]. Before they can interact properly, a door behind him opens and an invisible [[Duergar]] attacks with a force dagger.
* The party charges the attacking [[Duergar]] along another invisible one.
* [[Dogface]] takes the children into a cell and locks themselves in.
* From another door in the hallway, more duergar come out, flanking the party.
* [[Julian Boaventura|Julian]] joins the combat with a cast-iron pan and the party manages to quickly make the [[Duergar]] retreat.
* In the lull of combat, [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] faces [[Geraldina]] and asks if she's staying or going with them. She follows.
* Not knowing if the [[Duergar]] would be kept away for long, the party runs away upstairs, stealing as much as they can from the dungeon, including the old musket and the armor in the stand from the armory.
* [[Bonewood Manor]] is empty, with the guests having left sometime ago. Outside, [[William Correia e Silva|William]], [[Glamdur “Gramps” Torhondîr|Gramps]], and [[“Ratface” Ralnak|Ratface]] await for them. The [[Scavenger's League of Fortuna|League]] returns the children to their homes in the slums and [[Geraldina]] leaves in the first opportunity. The party smuggles [[Julian Boaventura|Julian]] back to [[The Rusty Mule]].
## 22nd of [[Germtide, 1049|Germtide]] ([[⛅ Overcast]])
* [[Joppyr]] attunes to [[Nine Lives]] and discovers its magical properties. It also confirms that it is not the [[Machete of Saint Bart]]. The party debates if they should cut [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] to see if [[Nine Lives]] restores a charge, but [[Joppyr]] decides not to.
* The party heads to the [[Shrine to Mboitatá]] to talk to [[Turmalina Goré]] about the bottles containing whirlwinds inside.
* [[Joppyr]] uses his divine sense and verifies that one of the bottles has two undead inside.
* [[Turmalina Goré]] does the [[Sympathy]] of the [[Protective Circle of Salt]] so they can open the bottles inside without any danger.
* [[Itxaro]] uses his telekinetic power to pop open the first bottle. A lady saci named [[Luzia]] pops out with er red hat. She tries to leave but the [[Protective Circle of Salt]] stops her.
* [[Itxaro]] immediately opens the next bottle and [[Tryk]] comes out. He's without his hat but quickly accepts the offer of tobacco from [[Itxaro]], sharing it with [[Luzia]]. They break the circle of salt and the two saci go feast on the offerings in the temple.
* [[Turmalina Goré]] tells [[Itxaro]] she has learned of a [[Sympathy]] that she can teach him if he spends the next day in the shrine.
* The party spends the rest of the day and the following doing downtime activities.
## 23rd of [[Germtide, 1049|Germtide]] ([[🌞 Sunny]])
* [[Julian Boaventura]] goes deal with the innkeeper of the [[The Loose Noose]]. His mule and cart were parked there while he was kidnapped. He trades some wares and guarantees some more prepaid parking time for his mule and wares and go make trades in town.
* [[Itxaro]] spends time in the [[Shrine to Mboitatá]] and learns the [[Rite of the Ashen Hooves]].
* [[Joppyr]] continues to practice his performance skills.
* [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] carouses for information about [[Hag Rock]]. He hears about a strong presence of witches, probably a whole coven living there, with always at least one around at the time. The witches are supposed to have wereboar familiars. He was told to never spend the night there.
## 24th of [[Germtide, 1049|Germtide]] ([[⛅ Overcast]])
* The party leaves for [[Hag Rock]] in the morning. They arrive without trouble and quickly find the body of [[Beatrice the Cruel]] face down near a creek, seemingly killed by a large boar.
* They search the body and find [[Julian Boaventura|Julian]]'s engagement ring and [[Eye of the Tucuxi|a weird medallion with a pink eye in the middle]]. No hat!
* [[Itxaro]] hears a voice. As he turns around, he seems to be alone in a blank field, with nothing around except an elderly woman hunching towards him. It feels like a dream. She identifies herself as [[Dona Pereira]] .
* [[Dona Pereira]] says she knows [[Itxaro]]. He rebuffs is. She tells that she was there when the caravels arrived in [[Ibir]]; When [[Mboikangue]] came to be, which they defeated the sixth coming, she was there; When [[Itxaro's Mother|his mother]] used to say that [[Morning River]] used to say, she was there. [[Itxaro]] asks what does she know about her mother only to look behind him at a mirror-image of his mother as he remembered her.
>[!quote] [[Dona Pereira]]
>Your thread is already warped in the loom of fate. You will lose part of yourself to succeed in your mission, and many will suffer for your success. This you cannot escape.
* For [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] and the others, [[Itxaro]] seems to be standing still, his eyes fixed on the [[Hag Rock]]. [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] snaps his fingers in front of [[Itxaro]]'s face to try to get a response.
* [[Dona Pereira]] continues:
>[!quote] [[Dona Pereira]]
>I dreamed I was young again. Dressed in beautiful collars and bracelets, with feathers on my headdress. To be able to spin that dream into a thread of fate, I need the tail feathers of the vulture king, as well as his most precious treasure: The light of the morning star.
> You may not want to do this now, but it has already happened in the future.
* [[Itxaro]] confronts her about [[Tryk]]'s hat. She says she has it, and reaches into a bag in her hip to grab it.
* [[Itxaro]] wakes up with [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] snapping his finger in his face.
* They argue about what happened, with [[Itxaro]] saying he was somewhere else and [[Dona Pereira]] gave him the hat back. [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] thinks it might've been something he was smoking. He pulls the hat out of his pocket to prove.
* [[Joppyr]] ends the argument siding with [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] and saying that [[Itxaro]] must had misplaced it in his backpack or something.
* The party decides to spend the afternoon allowing [[William Correia e Silva|William]] to use the [[Use Spyglass|spyglass]] to map the surrounding area.
* In the meantime, the party splits and explores the area. They find an [[Earthmote]] suspended close to the ground. [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] flies up to investigate and sees a white area in the center: The skeleton of a white dragon seems to be buried in snow in the center of this [[Wintery Earthmote]]. [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] is able to scavenge a patch of dragon scales from beneath a layer of permafrost, where part of the dragon still has preserved fleshy bits.
