[[Drake Dale]] district, [[Lake Hope]]. ## [[Morning]], 4th of [[Flowertide, 1049|Flowertide]] ([[🌞 Sunny]]) * [[Drakus Thunderheart]] has prepared a speech to the rest of the party in regards to what happened on the [[Gold Route]] with the [[Imperial Army]] soldiers. [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] believes that the party crossed a red line: Killing the surrendered soldiers was a dishonorable act. If the party does this again, they will need to find different paths. Additionally, [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] vowed to write down all occurrences where the [[Imperial Army]] does something disgraceful and he will go to [[Aurora]] to report it, if necessary. He wants to expose corruption and make sure that the army can be trusted as an institution. The other party members argue for their side, but ultimately comply with [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]]'s resolution. * [[Damrakas]] doesn't feel comfortable and believes that there's no saving the army because their laws are bogus. His own existence as a [[quilombola]] and as a [[Devilborn]] put him at odds with the [[Imperial Army]] many times before, and it's why he wears his helmet and disguise. * [[Damrakas]] leaves the room because he worries about the [[Orc Youngsters]]. He meets a dandy [[Settler|settler]] [[Orc]] in the common room of the tavern and asks if he knows about the native orcs in the neighborhood. The orcish gentleman polishes his monocle on his tuxedo and replies showing he is offended. He came all over from [[Valiant]] to participate in the [[Cheese Festival]], and not to be offended! He picks up his newspaper and leave. * [[Damrakas]] approaches the elderly tavernkeeper, but with his hearing being impaired, he misunderstands what they are talking about and suggests that if he wants a happy time, to visit the nightlife of [[Biguatinga]]. * After breakfast, the party heads out through the town. The cross the markets of [[Fortunato]], the smelly streets of [[Irerê]] past the gate and the busy streets of [[Jaçanã]], and through the temples of [[Cracaxá]], and arrive at the hilly streets of [[Drake Dale]]. Atop the Gullet Street, they see [[The Vultures' Nest]] getting its final touches. * At the entrace of the [[The Vultures' Nest|Guildhouse]], the party meets [[Augusto Gernok]]. He greets the party and introduces himself. They talk for a while, and he mentions they are the only one of the four parties that has sent any message so far. * They go around the property and meet the grumpy [[Riznir Burrowdigger]] on their way to the executive office. [[Aatratux the Resourceful]] finds them there and takes them around to the stables to meet the last Grand-Vulture, [[Floriana Nightingale]]. They were all in the same party in the [[Scavenger's League of Summerport]] alongside a bard that died of syphilis, raiding abandoned operations from the [[Golden Horizon Trading Company|GHTC]]. They all have lunch together in the mess hall as workers haul more furniture around them. * After dinner, they head to the office again to debrief about their adventures so far. The party mentions the [[Lucian|Lucians]], show them the letters and documents found so far, and relate that [[Dame Carlota Sandragon|DCS]] is still on the loose and [[Lord Adolf Valleysworth|Lord Valleysworth]] faced them on the road not long ago. They go through details of the expedition to the [[Temple of the Reptile God]], the sewers of [[Brine Rapids]] and the [[Flooded Chapel]], the [[Harrow Hill Manor]] and the [[Silver Heart]] they obtained there. * [[Itxaro]] sits down on the floor bored with the abundance of details. [[Augusto Gernok]] rails him about the importance of details and organization in an adventuring party, relating also his experience in the [[War of the Alliance]] fighting in the [[Capture of Torholt]]. [[Itxaro]] rolls a cigarette to smoke and relax, and [[Riznir Burrowdigger]] makes him a more relaxing type of cigarette with gnomish herbs, to which [[Itxaro]] adds some tobacco, annoying the elderly gnome. ## [[Afternoon]], 4th of [[Flowertide, 1049|Flowertide]] ([[🌞 Sunny]]) The party splits to cover more ground exploring the [[Inner City]] of [[Lake Hope]]: * [[Itxaro]] is spending the day at the [[The Vultures' Nest|Guildhouse]] to train and [[Level Up]]. * [[Damrakas]] heads to explore [[Cracaxá]]. He learns of the major temples in the area and sees that every saint has a least a small shrine in this neighbourhood. At some point [[Damrakas]] thinks he's seen a [[Devilborn]] out in the open and with no cover, but they disappeared before [[Damrakas]] could confirm what he saw. * [[Drakus Thunderheart]] explores [[Drake Dale]]. * He passes by the [[Buriti's Bar]] and sees the place chockful of visitors. * Then he enters the courtyard of the [[Royal Academy of Law and Warfare]] and corrects some students on the proper posture to wield a saber. He's invited by a student to come and teach a class on it at the school. * From there, [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] finds his way to the Leatherworkers' guild, where he wants to meet [[Eunico Pescadeiras]], a leatherworker he has heard about back in [[Itaiuba]]. The man practically sweats glue from how much he works. [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] shows him the white dragon scales they harvested at the [[Wintery Earthmote]] and [[Eunico Pescadeiras]] is very much interested in working that material, so he pulls some templates and measures [[Drakus Thunderheart|Drakus]] and gives a ballpark of how long it will take. * [[Morgano Beltrão]] heads to [[Fort Glory]] and explores the neighborhood, ending at the Royal Theater to visit [[Franciele Torres]] alongside [[Augusto Gernok]]. * Entering the dressing room, [[Morgano Beltrão|Morgano]] sees [[Franciele Torres]] practicing with [[Lord Arthur Valleysworth]]. [[Franciele Torres]] slaps [[Morgano Beltrão|Morgano]] for the last time they saw each other and leaves the room so the men can discuss their business. * [[Morgano Beltrão|Morgano]] confronts [[Lord Arthur Valleysworth|Arthur]] about his training. [[Lord Arthur Valleysworth|Arthur]] is not a fast learner and [[Morgano Beltrão|Morgano]] detects his thoughts as they talk to see how well he's doing. * [[Lord Arthur Valleysworth|Arthur]] says he's staying in the guest room of [[Lady Janaína Bisquara]] while in town. And while he's here, the dungeons of [[Bonewood Manor]] have been sealed off by his servants since [[The Gimp]] has awaken and now haunts the place. * Outside, [[Augusto Gernok]] and [[Franciele Torres]] flirt.
