Heavy smell of ammonia. They decide to dodge the area. * Further north, they reach the [[Nanic-Krapok]] bridge. They pay the 2SP required by the bridge guard mounted on a [[Tatuguaçu|glyptodon]]. * They reach the town in the afternoon. Party stays at the [[Brine Rapids#The Wise Rat (Poor Tavern)|The Wise Rat]]. They spend the rest of the day carousing. * [[Drakus Thunderheart]] talks to [[Thaynera Yvyrasulûm]] about the portal they found. She is very excited about this and tells she will notify some people she knows. ## From 21st to 24rd of [[Raintide, 1049|Raintide]] * Party is carousing and pursuing rumors. * [[Bran Firethorn]] goes to the [[Brine Rapids#Chapel of St. Bart|Chapel of St. Bart]] and talks to [[Priest Maciel Greenblade]]. Learns about the chapel but nothing specific about the [[Machete of Saint Bart]]. * [[Drakus Thunderheart]] investigates the archives, but fails to find new information.
